I saw Yolanda King speak last night. During the question and answer period she was asked about Malcolm. She said that he had come to see her father and they had begun to speak about civil rights and that he appeared to have changed a bit, but she also said that her fathers movement may not have been as successful without Malcolms stance.

I found a quote yesterday about this from Malcolm....almost exactly the way you said it.......

Thanks for that quote Dread (hope your migraine is better). That is where she said they met, he came when Dr King was in jail in Selma.
She also said she worked extensively with Malcolm's daughter after they finished collega and took a presentation on the road.
