Political Irony/humor found in Lic. plates

Due to a recent move to a new state, I need to get new Lic. plates for my car.

I noticed that the "basic" Lic. plate for the state has a picture of a Republican on it (mind you, he is known as one of our countries' greatest leaders).

I also looked into some of the specialty plates (environmental, education, ones that support public works project and ones that support breast cancer research - all somewhat "liberal" political agendas).

The ironic piece is, if you want to get these specialty plates, you have to pay an "extra tax" on the plates that you would not have to do if you get the plate with the picture of the Republican on it.

Well that is just disgraceful.

I think you should paint your license plate yourself and decorate it with slogans like "Down with Bush" and "Democrat 4 ever" and see how those Republicans like that.

Or not, lol.
