Oh no worries! I was just trying to clarify what sort of responses you were looking for, so as to know where this was best suited. I'm sorry if I came across more bluntly than I intended. At this point it's de facto an FYM thread anyway, lol, so I wouldn't move it now regardless.

And welcome to Interference

you know, i kind of enjoy these get-to-know-you/what's-going-on-in-your-life threads only for the FYMers. it seem as if there's much more intense interaction (not necessarily more interaction, just much more intense) interaction between the regular FYMers than there is between frequent posters in other places on Interference.

i think letting a few of these kinds of threads run their course might actually be both fun, and ultimately beneficial for discussion since i think there's a natural tendency to be less dismissive and listen better when you think you're having a discussion/argument with a real person rather than an avatar and a few sentences.

just my $.02.

Going to the SC coast. There's a church with GREAT music there. My son's birthday is on Easter Day this year. We'll have to do something special for him there - which will be easy since he loves seafood. I'm getting hungry!

I agree with that, very well said. It is nice to have this place be a little more human for lack of a better word. I think it is beneficial.

I have Friday afternoon off so I will be attending my church's service.
Saturday I work until 3:00 pm. Not sure if I'll attend Holy Saturday Vigil or go to Easter Sunday Mass.
Then I am invited to an Easter dinner with my cousins.

Good luck on your son's surgery, Dread.

Will probably be listening to Jesus Christ Superstar sometime during the weekend--personal tradition in lieu of church. Attending the first two opening games of local Triple A baseball team. Easter dinner.

His surgery is not serious or life threatening. Thank you for your well wishes. I should have mentioned that in the first post. Prayers will be helpful.

I am spending the day with my son, haven't seen him since the end of December. It should be a Beautiful Day.
