But in reality, things like this happen all the time, it's sad that sometimes you just have these social restraints (ie: don't hit girls back) that allows the males (however frequent or infrequent these assaults happen) to fight back.

If I was a guy, I'd certainly want to punch one of those girls if they were laying on me for no reason. And sorry about what happened to your brother LJT, some people are just jerks all around and unfortunately girls are no exceptions of the rule.
Thanks! It hurt my wee bro's pride more than anything, he boxed a lot too, strong fit guy you know? To get beaten badly by a bunch of girls hurt his spirit....though he couldn't really have helped it, too many drunken teens hang about at that corner, certainly no way he could have defended himself properly against them all.

Then again if my brother had of hit any of those girls back, I would be pretty sure my house's door would be hounded by their mothers askin about what's my brother doin hittin a girl

Personally there are not, very many ladylike girls in my area back home (ahh sorry if that ladylike phrase sounds sexist, I just mean that I prefer girls to act female? Not like men with hormones.....though I do like tomboys)

Being a female I don't find it to be sexist. Disturbs me to see females act so manly! Can remember my brothers saying that there were a few who used to scare them.
