Old Testament VS New Testament

I like the word Adonai personally, and no offense to anyone, but yeah, the word "Jehovah" just doesn't roll off of my tongue very well.
 
Though in the end we don't know actually know the vowels. Yahweh is only a guess at what the vowles for YHWH were. To paraphrase one rabbi "the fact that nothing happens when you Christians go around saying Yahweh pretty much proves that you don't have it right". Though some scholars argue for a vowel between the H and the W going by the application of YHWH to certain names and the fact that the corrupt Egyptian form of the name is Yahu. Personally I figure the proper set of vowels was kept by the High Priests and since the last legitimate high priest Onias III was murdered back in the 2nd Centruy BC (the Maccabees were not of the line of Zadok or Eli) those vowels were lost. Anything now is a guess.
