Its 2008, but Democrats in Pennsylvania are still conservative relative to their fellow Democrats in other Blue states. As Chris Matthews says, Pennsylvania Democrats are John Wayne Democrats, not Jane Fonda Democrats.

The majority of Democrats who vote in Pennsylvania in November 2008 will be Democrats who were old enough to vote for Casey.

McCain is still the underdog, but he is not going to be crushed as some here predicted. Current polling shows that this is going to be a very competitive race in a year in which the Republicans were always going to be the underdog since they have held the White House for the past two terms. Since the end of World War II, there has only been one time when either party won the White House 3 times in a row, Reagan's 2 plus Bush Sr. 1.

PA hasn't voted Republican for the Presidential since 1988, conservative state though it is. Maybe it will this year (although I doubt it) but that hasn't been the trend. But yeah, we're still a swing state.

No matter which way the popular vote goes, there wasn't a big enough swing tonight to really push Hillary near Obama, and certainly not to the forefront. At the very best, tonight could be something for her to build momentum off of, and she needs all the momentum she can get.

But there's still a ways to go yet in Texas.

"Win" sounds nice for her, but what about the delegates? Those are a bit important too...

I think Obama will get more delegates in Texas, even if he gets less votes. And that is a crap way to do things.

Not anymore

Clinton's lead has dropped to a single delegate, with one left to be allocated.

She gained no ground, though the narrow (4%) victory in the popular vote will comfort her a bit.
