that would make her Bill Clinton's life partner. and they'd be denied basic civil rights too.

(but then, she'd probably be more understanding about the blowjob)

SCORE! Will you marry me? It'll be perfect. We have so much in common. We both love politics, and we both sleep with men.

With all due respect to her, she's got absolutely no credentials to be the commander in chief if anything happens to McCain. And let's not forget he's 72. And yes, I do think Obama has the credntials to be commander in chief. He wasn't dropping off his kids to soccer practice in a mini van two years ago.

I think, while it looks good on paper, this was a bad choice for McCain, and in the end he'll lose because of it.

we'll see if he gets a bounce. If he does, the dems need to watch out.. because even after all of the hoopla this week, McCain and Obama are dead even.

I believe she does have one special qualifier for Commander in Chief that Obama doesn't have. She has a son deploying to Iraq.

Um, what? There's a lot of people with children, spouses, and family members in Iraq right now. That doesn't make anyone qualified to be president or VP. If we're going on that, Biden has a son about to ship out to Iraq too. That's not why he's qualified to be second in command, though.

Yeah.
That was an odd comment.

Obama is currently up, in the Gallup Poll, 49 to 41%, and that's just through Wednesday.

we'll see what happens to that, especially going into next week.

and, ultimately, it's going to come down to just a handful of states.

thankfully, i get to vote in one of them.

I don't even understand why anybody is looking at national polls at this point.

I'd say yes, it even makes Biden more qualified to be Commander in Chief (not qualififed to be second in command).

There is a unique quality to having been, or had a loved one in a war zone that helps balance empathy, compassion, against duty and doing the right thing. It's something that I think helps make people that have 'been there' better at the job.

No matter what it is.

I'd be kind of worried if one of Obama's children were deployed to Iraq...

Besides, McCain voted for the war.
Obama did not.
