They know that. But they know alot of people who came out for a demonstration the day after 9/11, mostly Muslims, against a war. Also they were out February 15, 2003. As you say it's a good sized minority.

i actually ment a very small minority... bloomberg's approval ratings are through the roof.

but new york being the huge melting pot that it is, with a population of 8 million within the city limits and 16 million if you combine the surrounding suburbs, if 25% of the people don't like you, that's still a few million peeps.

OK, a small minority. Still, two million voters is nothing to ignore.

Ron's an interesting guy. A libertarian running under a Republican ticket in Texas. Won by only a small margin against a young 30 year old Democrat first time runner his current seat. Which given his experience and that it was in Texas, that's horrible.

He'll get nowhere in his presidential run...

Is it the irony that he's speaking about poverty, or that he's getting paid more than most other speakers of his stature that this made news?

when you're talking on large scales, 2 million can be something to ignore.

if 75% feel one way, the other 25% can go scratch their ass.

So Fred Thompson is in

so conservatives can have a candidate they can support?

His current wife is 4 years younger than his daughter.

Gotta love those "family values."

Well, there is a 31 year age gap between Dennis and Elizabeth Kucinich.

Except he's never run on family values or any kind of conservative views. And he's seen as a joke, whereas Thompson is the last great hope it seems.

This was pretty funny-other than that watching that Republican debate was excruciating. Ron Paul is interesting though-and Tancredo is a nut job

I'd be smiling, too.
