Thanks, Commerce Clause was on the tip of my tongue when I was trying to write that.

At 35:21, he says "here in Asia" despite currently being in Hawaii. So does that mean he's not eligible to be president since he wasn't born in America?

True story, I went to Japan once, I met this this nice Japanese woman named Miyumi, I asked her if she had even been to America, she said no.

My brother told me she had been to Hawaii 3 times,
they considered it a colony.

Have you been to Hawaii lately?
Nothing but Japanese and Chinese tourists.

^ Haha, that was my first thought too..."well, he wasn't too far off"...it really is a hybrid culture throughout the state like no place else in the US, not just a question of an "Asian flavor" to the culture or something.

Hawaii just might be my favorite place in the United States.

I did. The numbers I posted are the 2010 allotments.

Concerning Ohio and Florida, the latest Rasmussen poll has Obama losing both to a generic Republican candidate along with Pennsylvania. Obviously, that scenario would be certain doom for him. I really do think he can lose both Ohio and Florida though and still win the election. As long as he has Pennsylvania and the obvious blue states, he only needs to flip a mid-level one or two.

Florida will certainly go to the Republican challenger. No question. So many old people will be drinking up their Fox News into the election's lead-up and it was one of the weakest Obama victories in the 2008 election. He has no chance there and should not spend a lot of money in Florida, but I'm sure they'll waste a ton there. Ohio is far easier to win and the one to shoot for.

Assuming Romney's the nominee, I think you can right-off-the-bat switch Florida, Virginia, Indiana and New Hampshire from blue to red (a total of 57) making it roughly 310-ish to 220-ish.

The above post is probably correct, that it would be smart for Obama to forget some states and just make sure he hangs on to PA, OH, WI, maybe a couple others. But if the economy tanks again and he can't win those rust belt states, which is how he won in 2008, he may need some backups. He may have to go down to Florida and try to scare senior citizens after all.

I'm still waiting to see Obama's grades.

Obama will definitely have to do some work in Florida. His stance on not consistently going down on Israel with sexy anti-Palestine rhetoric (sorry, AchtungBiBi) has soured his image for many right-wing old Jews.
