Did you ever stop and think that there are some people who disapprove because he is not doing the things he said he would do... like, I don't know, universal healthcare? I disapprove too because I don't think he's done enough to get this passed, to squash the rumors and call out those people who are spreading malicious lies. He needs to be a hard ass on this. He's acting like he needs a popularity contest. No he doesn't. Do what Bush did: Whatever the fuck you want and get it over with. The whiners will whine, too fucking bad. You'll get your chance to really whine in 2012.

Nonetheless I'd rather vote for him again than get Palin/Romney/Jindal/Huckabee as a president. And that's paired with the fact that I'm not his biggest fan either.

Only when Bush was in the high 80's.

Did he really get that low?

Well, that's still higher than Congress.

I don't really pay attention to polls, but isn't that usually the case?

That really doesn't answer my question...

Maybe that should say something.

Congress is traditionally held in low esteem by the public, yet most people approve of their representatives and Senators and give them high marks.

hence, much about polling depends upon how you ask the question.

So .... are they really shouting "Booooooo-urns" and not "Booooooo" at the president? So the polls really mean everyone loves him?

Outstanding!
