yeah, those figures aren't just misleading, it's plain wrong. unless those were estimates, which they're not, how could they determine the unemployment rate for 2011 in december 2010?

this is why i hate graphs.

Bumper Sticker Politics is a big thing in the US. You pretty much never see it in Australia (or anywhere else really?), but jump on a US highway, and if you were getting a dollar for every political bumper sticker you see - whether its "humorous"/antagonistic stuff like this or simple campaign stickers (Obama '08, Bush/Cheney '04), or specific issue based stuff - you'd be able to cover the cost of your fuel from one side of the US to the other. Easily.

little made me feel more amused in the us than seeing palin/mccain* bumper stickers after the election, and also a whole bunch of stupid w - still the president ones. doesn't work when the new guy was already inaugurated. actually, fuck it, the funniest one i saw was for ron paul.

most people with conservative bumper stickers turned out to be extremely ugly and/or always drove with their mouths open.

*=yes, in that order.

yeah, i never did political bumper stickers for that reason. by the time it's on your car the election's over and now you look stupid. though it is a funny way to find out just how old someone's car is - if they still have a 2004 political sticker on their car, haha your car's like...old and stuff.

I didn't read which part(s) was ruled unconstitutional, but there are a lot of precedents for the mandatory insurance purchasing.

Still, precedents be damned with this current set of Supremes.

It is the mandatory buying of a service from a private company

and we have Thomas wife being on the payroll of an anti-Obama Care group, and Scalia with close associations to them. They should recuse themselves, but only the Judges themselves decide if they have a conflict.

Group says 2 justices may have conflict of interest in election case - CNN
