After that incident yesterday that turned out to be a "misunderstanding", this is interesting

MSNBC staff and news service reports
Updated: 3 minutes ago

MIAMI - Officials at the Port of Miami were investigating a "suspicious" package found near a terminal on Monday.

MSNBC cable reported that the package tested positive for the explosive C-4.

Scanning instruments detected an anomaly on a pallet being removed from a truck, and the Miami-Dade County Police bomb squad was sent to the busy cruise and cargo port for further investigation, spokesman Roy Rutland said.

The U.S. Coast Guard requested the cruise ship Majesty of the Seas be moved as part of the investigation, and the Federal Aviation Administration asked television helicopters to move back from the scene.

The cruise ship had been loading passengers for a four-day cruise.

It always smells "gassy" in the meadowlands...not sure what the big deal is in Manhattan.

Another false alarm

MIAMI - The Port of Miami was hit by its second terrorism scare in two days Monday when a package that was to be loaded onto a cruise ship tested positive for plastic explosives. Authorities later determined it was harmless.

The package was initially tested six times, and each time it came back positive for the military-grade explosive known as C4, the Coast Guard said.

The package was then destroyed, and a Miami-Dade County police bomb squad determined it contained sprinkler parts, said Zach Mann, a spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Miami.

This, along with the stellar playoff performances by the Giants and Jets this weekend merely proves that New York City really does stink.

New Jersey always smells like ass, so there must have been a wind coming in from the west

Shocker here: They're trying to blame Jersey for the smell!
FYI- The Giants and Jets may be from New York, but they play in New Jersey, not New York City.
