New gas field discovery proves supply worries bogus

Montana’s Bakken Oil Field: Good News for US Consumers, Bad News for MSM

A very large oil find in the virtual wasteland of eastern Montana and western North Dakota is making millionaires of land owners there, and guaranteeing the oil supply is not about to run out despite the doom and gloom of the bogeyman running oil futures through the roof.

The best thing about this is, the land there is for the most part just sand and rocks, very little vegetation and in its absence very little animal life, so it's not a place like Alaska that's going to be decried as an enviornmental disaster to drill, stopping that from being a factor. Interesting this hasn't hit the mass media, as the story says, they don't want us to know (nor do the gov't and oil companies)

it looks like this article

is what started this little feeding frenzy on several conservative blogs

Whats wrong with shale? Just because it wasn't economic in the past doesn't make it a bad thing.
