My Africa mug

Last week I tried something, I put a mug on my desk and I put all the small change I'd prolly never spend anyways in the jar (mostly pennies and nickles). At the end of my day I reach into my pockets and throw my pennies and nickels in there. Now, if I see a coin on the ground, I do something remarkable, I reach down and pick it up, and place it in my mug. in one week I had a dollar and 23 cents..this is money that in most cases would just go to waste. My goal is..to try this for a while and see how it goes. I want to find a good charity to donate the proceeds to after one year (something pertaining to aids in africa). Any other interferencers want to try this with me?
