Ohio is 52-48 with 72% of the votes counted and the polls are completely closed

What the hell numbers are you looking at? Fox News??

And there are still loads of polls open in Ohio because people have been waiting in line to vote.

Acrobatman,
Sadly some Americans base all their passion on hate.
This never wins elections.

It also is a losing proposition in other areas of life.

On a side note, I am soooo tired. I fell asleep for an hour between 10:30 and 11:30 Eastern time, only to find that little had happened.

I'm proud to be Pennsylvanian tonight, though.

Dave C-
According to you he wasn't going to be re-elected as of yesterday,
so now you wanna impeach him.
Wow.

Sad.

What carries the day and wins some elections.

It worked great for you and everyone else that voted for "The defense of Marraige".

Even with Ohio, though...losing Florida means that Kerry HAS to win Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Nevada, and Wisconsin (I think that's it).

The margin is slim in NV. Kerry has to hang on to it. And all of the above, too. Unless some late counts from Miami-Dade swing Florida back to Kerry.

It will, however, be a squeaker either way.

Bush has to keep all of his other strongholds, plus AK (no problem), Colorado (tight, but he'll probably keep it), and NM (again, looking like a win). But this is assuming he keeps Florida. If he doesn't, he's in big trouble. I don't even know that Ohio will make a difference if he loses Florida.

well, in nov. 2000 I said "well, maybe this next 4 years will go by quickly and uneventfully".
:|
well, I say the same now in nov. 2004.
because, hey, armegeddon can't be that bad, right?
