We define power differently then. Power is to say "Do it" and it is done. Or it is the power to say "No." Except in his world, he does not have power. He can neither say Yes nor No.

Influence or access is a form of power, I guess. But it is limited.

By that definition the President of the US doesn't have power, CEOs don't have power for everyone goes through filters.
 
I do not think the President has much actual power, no. As for the CEO, I would guess I would have to see the company.
 
I think Bono refers to what he has and it's influence, as currency. Is it, in those terms, still power? I dont think so. I think if any little man like our humble selves tried to pull off the sheer volume of work Bono does, we'd be really hard pressed. He can, because of who he is from what he does. It buys him that opportunity which he uses well.
