Marine Readies 'Angels" For Journey Home

I'm hoping against hope that this won't turn into some argument about the war in Iraq. For me it's just an absolutely unforgettable reminder of what happens there.

There are a few graphic and unsettling portions to this article, just fyi

What a gut wrenching article. The part that got me was reading about how the morticians massage the looks of fear and pain out of the soldiers' faces once rigormortis has set in.

"Angels" definitely does more to give these men and women soldiers a face than the terms "casualties" and "remains". There is some comfort in that.
