I would think they are all on salary.
This shouldn't be costing the taxpayers anything.

true, (and I am sure the Insurance Companies and lobbyists will put a little extra in their Xmas stockings)
but the Capital Police and all the other related workers are most likely on OT.

What's being accomplished is another unfunded entitlement, and it's forever.

That's why reconciliation is unprecedented and unfortunate for this kind of legislation.

Or to get this damn thing done.

But I'd still like to know how much a full weekend session of Congress paid all those Congressfolks.

[QUOTE=Bluer White;6701282]What's being accomplished is another unfunded entitlement.QUOTE]

God forbid, now - anyone in the future won't be denied health care because they are unemployed or have run into financial hardship, or illness.
My brother died waiting on approval from medicaid so he could see a liver specialist.
The week after he died, (2 years after he was first diagnosed) he received a letter stating he would receive SSI, which we didn't care so much about because we were paying for his doctors anyway, but we did care about the medicaid. They were going to review it for 6 months and give a decision. Their delay caused my brother more pain than he should have had to have in his final days.

Edited to say: don't know what I did wrong in the quote, but what the f***.
