Funny, I know many Canadians who are totally cool with the idea of same-sex marriage being legal. And I don't believe all of them are solely from Quebec.
That Harper guy really sounds...interesting...

yeah, i'd read that same article earlier and couldn't believe he put forward the argument that the Bloc doesn't represent "Canadian" views.__________________
last time i checked, my canada included quebec.
and the bloc were good enough to form an alliance with to try to bring down the government--it doesn't get more "federalist" than that. what's changed in the last month? oh yeah, that didn't quite work out for mr. harper the way he'd hoped.
political opportunism, anyone?
