liberals

let me say this about all thats been on tv about the iragi situation aswell as things in this country too.

1. ECONOMY all liberals that i have ever met are blaming bush for all that is wrong with the economy. firsty of all bush came into office with the country allready into recession. lets not forget the attack on the world trade center, the pentagon. and the plane that crashed into the woods. the stock market that is always high never changes to go really hi, to go that hi it needs to go down to gain momentum with new business owners. With all these people complaining about how bush sux is not going to het him out of office. Investors do not want to put money into something that is always getting talled or complained about. instead of complaining about how bad our president is lets put the same energy into a solution to support and help bush whether you like him or not. In life your always going to have to get along with people you dont always like. im sure if everybody did this investors would feel more secure in putting there money where it is trusted. If bush is haveing troubles in some areas attack after attack from democrats is not going to help this country. im not a fan of bush myself but he has my support and respect nomatter what i think of him. Bush is the president and im going to resplect that, going around complaining about what he has done bad is not going to change anything but make other people more pissed. lets unite as a country and wake up to the opinion of the rest of the world. Lets set the example and standard for the rest of the world.

IRAQ His name is soddom husein and he is a murder of his own people and has many chemical weapons that are not accounted for. this guy is a modern day hittler and peole are apposed to going to take this guy down? sheral crow at the grammys is opposed to war? people like her think peace talks are going to find these weapons aswell as make hussein stop doing what he does? all these peace talks are doing is giving him time to make and hide more weapons of mass destructions. terrorists want nothing more then to have more time. another issue is going in alone to war. what the hell we have the entire world behind us except to 2 countrys and the democrats say well we need everybody aswell as go saying that nobody is behind us BULLSHIT. 6 months ago a resulution was given to the u.n. to be passed togo to war and support bush, the votes was 15 to 0 in favor togo to war. is that not enought to have the u.n. and the 95 percent of the world to go to war? the families and innocent people of irag need relief badly. lets give these a country they can be proud of.

many people are against war and think there is no reason to ever go to war. well sherlyl crow i ask you this if we were getting attacked would that make you believe that it was necesarry?

me personnally, i hate war its our sons and daughters who are going to get killed and it might be alot more then 96 too. im really sad that this is going to happen but i think this mad mad in iraq needs to go down to protect and prevent hundreds of lives in the future from being killed. i hate war but i do think it is necessary when certain situations arrive. aslong as there is evil people there will be war.

1. ECONOMY -- Fixing an economy is not spending yourself silly in military toys and then offering multi-trillion dollar tax cuts in the middle of a recession. Top economists and even Alan Greenspan think that Bush's economic policy is terrible. What does that say to you? I do not like unconstructive criticism; what I offer are concrete grievances as to why I think Bush is a terrible president, and it would be un-American of me to give him respect that he hasn't deserved--much like what Saddam expects from his own people.

"Let's unite" = let's all shut up and act Republican. I say we unite as a country under the Democratic plans. What do you think?

IRAQ -- We aren't in a war with Iraq to destroy a dictator. It is about WMDs that we have inspections in place to find, remember? If this were about human rights, I think we would have had a war deposing Saddam a long time ago.

Welcome to Interference.com, BTW.

lets not compare bush to soddom. giviing respect is not to give respect to bush personnaly but to his position. i dont just give respect to bush because he does everything to make myself happy

sula

if bush and blair used your wisdom megadrum2002, empowerment rather than criticism, in their dealings with the UN-things would very likely be quite different right now.

I'm leaving this thread open against my better judgment, but let's try to keep things constructive. Megadrum, even though you're a newbie, please keep in mind that rants are generally not welcome in FYM (just ask Lemonite) and we ask that people keep threads topical and focused (see the "Gentle Reminder" note at the top of the FYM page). I'd PM you this but you're not Premium...sorry.
