Kudos to the Richmond Times Dispatch

I often criticize my local paper, but now I must say I'm quite proud of it. All the pictures you see from the mess-hall bombing in Iraq are from the RTD photographer, same with first hand accounts from a RTD reporter. This is a really tough time for all of us in America, so please keep the troops and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

The troops and their families are never out of my thoughts and prayers.

I read some of the RTD article on dailykos. There was a quote by a female soldier who was crying that she couldn't hear. How horrible...there are no words, really, to describe your feelings about the situation.

I want all the troops home, NOW.

This is just too sad, no matter what your views on the Iraq invasion were. This is December, 2004, and Iraqis have been suffering from massive problems in their country for way too long. They've had brutal dictatorships, now this terrorist insurgency. It sucks.
