Kramer Unleashes Racist Tirade

http://www.cnn.com/video/player/play...rson.nword.cnn

Whoa, that's nasty-50 years ago you'd be hanging from a tree (he said something like that)- unbelievable

KTLA

Actor comedian Michael Richards is in the hot seat this morning, over a reported tirade at the Laugh Factory.

The star, who is best known as Kramer from 'Seinfeld' is accused of saying the n-word to a disruptive audience Friday night in Hollywood.

Witnesses say audience members were angry and told Richards he was not funny.

They say that's when he went on a verbal rampage and began using racist language.

Richards, who was performing the next day, refused to speak about the incident on camera.

He told CNN, off-camera, he felt sorry for what happened and that he made amends.

According to celebrity news Web site TMZ.com, Michael Richards went off on two black audience members who were heckling the comedian during a show at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood.

In a video of the incident featured on the Web site, Richards purportedly screamed "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f---ing fork up your a--."

On the videotape, some audience members are gasping in disbelief.

Directing his anger at one of the men, Richards said, "Throw his a-- out," and said, "He's a n-----!" five times.

Near the end of the tirade, Richards said, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a n-----."

In response to the tirade, one of men said, "That''s un-f---ing called for -- ain't necessary," TMZ said.

After the three-minute tirade concluded, several audience members hit the exits, the Web site said.

Can't see the video, but wow...repeatedly targeting people in the audience. Not the best way to avoid the Seinfeld curse.

Take a hint from Mel and blame it on alcohol, some people will buy it.

tmz.com

"The jerk store called. They ran out of Michael Richards.

Just hours after TMZ exposed "Kramer's" vile and racially-charged diatribe at a Hollywood comedy club, the actor's former "Seinfeld" co-stars are weighing in.

In a statement released by Jerry Seinfeld, the comedian said, "I am sick over this. I'm sure Michael is also sick over this horrible, horrible mistake. It is so extremely offensive. I feel terrible for all the people who have been hurt."

Is is really just a "mistake"? Didn't his true feelings come out, just like Mel? Drugs or booze or ego trip or whatever? It sure is eye opening to read the comments on tmz, I think I just lost some years off my life...
