Any rumors of a Presidential bid?

I have to say that I'm impressed with this guy whenever I hear him speak. I will readily admit that I don't know much about his voting record, what sort of bills he pushes for, etc.....but he just seems to strike a chord with me when I hear him on tv. He kind of has the relaxed ease of Clinton, but without the swagger. It seems like he presents thought-out ideas that he personally believes, without the obvious spin or shiftiness that I sense when I hear many Republicans speak. He doesn't have the robotic gravitas of Hilary or Obama, but rather seems fairly down-to-earth---one of the things some people cite as one of Bush's assets. Finally, he seems like he wants good things, but doesn't have the "I want to save the world but it has to be done my way" thing of McCain.

What's his record like? Does he do more than just speak well? What's the future like for this guy?

He might be a good candidate. I don't think he's as divisive as Hillary, that's for sure.

He's a corporatist of the highest order. He voted for the horrible bancruptcy bill and the energy bill. He's also a huge hawk.
