No. From what I gather from MJ is that he has become a megalomaniac of sorts. He has a huge ego. He is too proud to admit to himself that he needs help. That's why he needs help so badly.

I am well known for being more passionate than rational on this subject.. but sometimes this place is beyond even me.

Your comment was just... unnecessary.

.
Sally I mean you no disrespect either.

The man is calculating and saw a family that was more or less damaged goods..(based on their past endeavors).

He took them in knowing that he could prey on them as they had a lousy reputation, the kid didn't have a father role model and he knew that nobody would believe them if he they ever accused him.

For Michael Jackson to sing songs about masturbation and then invite prepubiescent boys to bed with him..It doesnt take rocket science to figure where Michael Jackson was headed.

Futhurmore w/the "it's only pure innocent love" comments made by Mr Jackson it sounds like a page ripped out of the NAMBLA handbook of cover excuses.

For you to say that Michael Jackson did nothing unseemly or immoral w/this kid is the same as me saying Al Capone never murdered anybody, because Al Capone was never convicted of murder.

It's that simple.
Michael is an unconvicted pepophile.

That's all.

I'd like to see parents go on trial for letting their kids stay with him.

Would YOU let your child stay with a 40-year old stranger? Just because he's famous? Seriously - what the hell is wrong with these people?

No kidding. One of my friends on LiveJournal pasted a description/signs of pedophilia, and from looking at that, and looking at Michael Jackson, you'd have to be blind not to make a connection.

That being said, seeing footage of him as a child/teen on TV makes me feel sad for him. Imagine what must have been done to him (be it physically or mentally) to help make him the man he is today.

Finally, I feel awful for Michael Jackson's children. Those poor kids never stood a freaking chance.

No, my concern is if someone is into the sensationalism of the Michael Jackson trial that much, they are probably only wearing the One bracelet for sensationalism purposes as well and could care less about its true intent.

Of course, I could be wrong...
Cool, I misunderstood. Sorry again for sounding so narky.

What if Bono liked to sleep with young boys?

It would never happen because he is normal.

Jacko is a weirdo - period.

Any man that likes to sleep with little boys is either a pedo or a weirdo.

Jacko fans are weird too - get a life you lot!

NEWSFLASH#
Larry Mellen Jnr (name changed to save lawsuit) caught drinking alcohol and looking at porn with a small boy before jumping into bed with him.

Enough said.

It was a general statement, like I said that's the way it feels sometimes in FYM..you are judged on the minutest little detail or statement that you make. Or someone interprets intentions in some silly thread you make that aren't even there.

I'm going to try to stay away from this forum again. It's really no fun anymore and it's just too stressful
I know the feeling - This place gets brutal sometimes. I've left twice now...the second time, I stayed away for around a year and a half, I think.

You will be sorely missed. You are one of the most respectful people in these forums, even to people with whom you don't agree.

Personally, you've meant a good deal to me on these forums. You've defended me quite a bit, whcih is something very rare indeed, and I appreciate it.

Why are so many people shocked about the verdict? Do any of you have a clue how the judicial system works? While I think MJ probably did it, there really wasn't the evidence to back it up. If they had found him guilty, that would mean that they based their decision based on their own prejudices instead of doing their jobs and that would have been wrong. The prosecution simply needed a better case.

However, I wound have expected them to get him on the lesser alcohol charge, they had witnesses for that.

I guess that the U.S. has two legal systems, one for common people and another one for celebrities.

You're quite right. Megalomaniacs can't admit that they need help. Egos get in the way of reason, of facts, everything. It's a fd up situation.

It is very simple. The burden of proof falls on the prosecution. Where was the proof?
