ONE love, blood, life
This is a question I've been wondering about for some time now. How do you live your life? Are you the type of person that has long-term goals and makes the vast majority of your decisions based on how they will affect those goals - the type of person whose eyes are always on the future - OR are you the type of person that prefers to live in the moment, make the best of what it is, and move on to the next moment?
I started thinking about this question because it's one of the biggest differences between my older brother and myself. He makes the biggest decisions in his life based on how how they'll affect him 5 years down the line, 10 years down the line.
As for me, I live in the moment. I live in the moment, because the way I see life is that this moment right here and now is all we have. The past is done and the future is a question mark. If you keep looking way up in the distance for something, you may miss the things right in front of you. You may not get the chance to get to the future, you never know. It's like...say you're driving a car in a city or state or country you've never been in. You can look at a map, find the destination you want, and then use the map to get there. Or you can say, the hell with the map, and throw it out the window, and just drive around and stop at whatever place grabs your attention and interests you.
To me, in the end, I think the journy can be more important than the destination.
So, do you live in the moment or for the future?
