Eight days gives me a little leeway to have my package sent and still get there in time.

Happy Hanukkah.

Thank you BonoSaint...and Chag Sameach to you too!

I love this holiday (even though it's a working one). Everything is so festive and families get together for traditional Hannuka treats like Latkas (potato pancakes) and jelly doughnuts, and the children get presents and play with spinning tops called "Draydls".

During the coming week, we will be lighting candles in the office and next Saturday night our family is having a big party with all my sisters, neices and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I LOVE this time of year.

Happy Hannukkah. I made my first ever all-by-myself batch of latkes last night, and I have to say, not bad. But then it's really hard to screw up the potato-y goodness especially if you smother it in sour cream and apple sauce.

Damn I wish I had a Christian to grate the onions.

anyway just for fun (if I were premium I'd make a poll for preference):

I roll with Chanukah. Happy Chanukah to everyone, especially my fellow MOT's. :) I, too, love this time of year, though, means more to me when I am with my family. Have a great one, everyone!!!
