LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign released the following statement concerning TSA abuses like the ones that resulted in U.S. Sen. Rand Paul being inconvenienced at the Nashville, Tennessee airport. Below please find comments from Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX):

“The police state in this country is growing out of control. One of the ultimate embodiments of this is the TSA that gropes and grabs our children, our seniors, and our loved ones and neighbors with disabilities. The TSA does all of this while doing nothing to keep us safe.

“That is why my ‘Plan to Restore America,’ in additional to cutting $1 trillion dollars in federal spending in one year, eliminates the TSA.

“We must restore the freedom and respect for liberty that once made American the greatest nation in human history. I am deeply committed to doing that as President of the United States.”

Newt is now pulling ahead in Florida. Seriously. I have no idea what people see in him. Hell, even my hardcore Republican mother can't stand him. To be fair, she really dislikes all of them, but still.

i realize that....and this one is certainly no exception. I don't have a problem with the Potus or first family taking vacations though, anymore than i have a problem with a candidate for Potus who has a personal wealth of $250 million.

I suppose my comment was a bit sarcastic, went over some peoples' heads, or my delivery was a bit dry.

Also, you are cherry picking my post. Did you catch the part where i said i would campaign for Obama?

Why do you ask? I don't listen to Sean Hannity, is this his material? Or is it all fabrications because the Obama's have never taken a vacation?

Im curious...did you bother reading my entire post?

Vacations, Ayers, golf... This is what these talking heads are saying on a daily basis. I just didn't think anyone outside the nut job right even gave these a second thought. You don't seem like one of them, so I've found these points being sprinkled in your posts to be confusing.

This is so boring. Although Newt is getting mad so might pick up soon.

No idea what Ron Paul and Santorum are still doing on that stage. Really weird.

He's everything that the Tea Party would sell their collective souls to.

Not really, he is very much the establishment, he's publicly supported action on climate change, he's big government.
