well its quite interesting how much the simpsons takes the piss out of religion

i mean christmas for one is not sacred on the simpsons

that is the point of those 'christmas' episodes

and its quite funny how they had this scene of santa claus having to be on a hospital table and the doctors fail to revive him and the line goes flat with two reindeers at his side

now THAT'S humour!

Not to throw a wrench in the works, but if you're going to attack the Simpsons for being well(and very satirically)written, what about the movie _Dogma_. It attacks faith just as much, or more, than any episode of the Simpsons, and I happen to feel that it is a brilliant movie. Just my two cents. Feel free to commence attacking me.
