That picture is really heartbreaking. When I go dumpster diving, I am alarmed at the amount of GOOD food I find. It bothers me that we live in such excess, and then there are people whose body is really nothing more than skin and bones.

I try to conserve as much as I can and consume as little as necessary. It hurts to think that my efforts aren't doing anything. I don't know what else to do! That is disturbing that no progress has been made.
