i saw the headline the other day, "utah woman can keep GAYSROK license plate"

and i thought to myself, why wouldn't she be able to keep it?

So am I. What's the problem? The lady just wants to support gay rights. It's a sad day when someone who just wants to defend someone has to justify it. Why are they on her case? She just likes someone and wants to say so. This is depressing.

Yeah, the fuss over that is stupid...but rather funny, too. I particularly found this part amusing:

...duh? Call me crazy, but I always thought compliments about people weren't considered offensive to good taste and decency.

Very strange story, indeed. People are funny.

But glad the girl gets to keep her license plate :up:.

It is likely that the Utah computer system tracking license plate applications kicks out those using key words, phrases or combinations.

I'm sure it is encouraging that some doofus in the Utah DMV decided that taxpayer dollars should be spent to challenge the plate.
