I'm writing an essay on the film Un h?ros tr?s discret, and in a scene using footage from the Liberation, there are French men wearing jackets with the letters K.G. (maybe standing for Kriegsgefangene?) on the back, being released from wherever they've been. I'm assuming they're work camp inmates because later in the film, someone says something about the STO in regards to them, but I'm thrown of by the K.G. if means POW. I thought someone here might know more about WWII than I do and could tell me what K.G. stands for and/or anything else that could help me figure out how I should refer to them in my essay. Thanks! :)
