Oh, I made a mistake yesterday, it should be Marlene Dietrich, not Dittrich.

I also like Two Tribes of Frankie Goes To Hollywood. And their version of War.

^ Was never a fan of theirs, but I vividly remember the trippy video with Reagan boxing...God, who was it...Chernenko? Andropov?...one of those hapless nobodies who plugged the gap in between Brezhnev and Gorby...

Ah, Cold War days...

Does The Rascals' "People Got to be Free" count as a anti-war song?

It's not really an anti war song, but Abraham, Martin and John is very touching too.

I thought this was called the "Feel Like I'm Fixin' To Die Rag"? Either way, it's a cool song, all those war protest songs mentioned so far are cool.

So when are today's artists going to make songs protesting the Iraq war?

Mostly likely that is the name.

I had to google the lyrics to find it and Vietnam Song is what popped up. Some of these songs I've heard for years and years, but never knew the actual name. Kinda like the roads I've driven on for decades but never knew their names.

Not so specific about Vietnam, more of a general anti injustice song.

Alice's Restaurant -- Arlo Guthrie (very long and funny as hell, but one of my all time faves )

i love alice's restaurant!
