Does Islam represent a threat to your society?

Old school religion is ugly, there are nowhere near enough devout believers to threaten society, the bigger threat are means taken by the state (now that would include intrusive surveillance, illegal detention, expansion of media blackouts on terrorism cases as well as the well intentioned subverting of free speech to appease theists; banning the offence of religious sensibilities).

Fitna is an overly simplistic film, it does put some of the more endearing parts of that faith out there (the defence of the calls to violent expansion of faith because it respects other people of the book like Jews and Christians should be of little comfort).

Religious fanatics are indeed very dangerous people.

George Bush and Tony Blair bombed and invaded Iraq actually killing tens of thousands of innocent muslims, men, women , children, sick and elderly without a shred of remorse because God, apparently, told them to do it.

i'd vote for fundamentalism.

i define that as the following. a fundamentalist usually becomes one after a moment of clarity. and absolutely everything that happens after that is shaped to fit and buttress whatever insight was just gained. all information is filtered.
