Do you think Gore will be Deans running mate?

Just curious if this thought went through anyone elses mind when Gore announced his support of Dean?

No. That would be considered a "step down" for Gore. Not the kind of perception Gore would want to create.

No. Gore is doing this to stay "relevant". Being someone else's running mate isn't in his plans.

no way, gore is vying for a seat in the cabinet, more than likely secretary of state.

I don't think so. I really think Clark is going to be Deans #2 man. I think its safe to say that Dean has the Democratic nomination wrapped up.

nixon was an 8 year v p to a popular president.

nixon loss a close election in 1960 that his followers say was 'stolen' from him.

nixon sat out 1964 and worked hard for the party.

goldwater loss to an incumbent

nixon came back stronger 4 years later.

gore is copying nixon's playbook

It's possible!

On another note, I really don't want to see four more years of Bush.... but currently I don't see any Democrat fitting for the job either! Maybe we just have to wait and see.
