Because by all means, we need our media to be cheerleaders.

That said, I think it's beyond obvious that the positive news rarely sees the light of the day in the sensationlist media.

Then you have someone like Fox News who'll give a positive story if they agree with it, say the Iraq War but if it's 1999, then it's all doom and gloom despite a boomign economy because the President got a blow job. Whereas CNN seems to be objectively sensationalist across the board.

Some of us can remember before the last 7 years.

Well, I'd be an internet user who'd fault them for "failing to stand up for America" too, not for failing to be cheerleaders but for failing to question our leaders, investigate claims of fact by our president and his administration, and report on real news instead of celebrity coke habits.

She's an admitted conservative.
Not according to this: http://thecablegame.blogspot.com/200...ng-places.html

"Hill, a Democrat, considers herself the most liberal of the FOX anchors."

She considers herself a "primary-voting Democrat"

How much do you think she gets in bonuses each year from Fox for staying registered with the Dems to keep up the illusion of "fair and balanced"?

Here you go:

and what about CNN "accidentally" cutting to President Bush in the Oval Office before giving a speech.

None of this justifies Fox News's errors, but mistakes, whether they are biased and made on purpose or not, are going to be made.

Ummm, why are you bringing up CNN? They're a horrible network with horrible people (I mean really, they got into a bidding war with Fox over Paula Zahn. Paula Zahn of all people!), who don't report news, but soundbytes. Now they have more stories per hour or some such nonsense.

You seem to think that your "left" watches CNN. Newsflash: we don't. It's only MARGINALLY better than Fox.

If you want to go shame us, look on BBC or CBC, for God's sake.
