Caught a bit about this on TV last night. Definite left slant here that might turn some people off, but the idea of a site dedicated to monitoring police activity seems like a good one. I also liked the bit covering what your rights are when stopped by an officer re: searches etc.

Interesting site...

It would probably get a little more credibility if it didn't have contents like 'check-a-pig' and have an open forum attached to it(nothing wrong with open forums, just sometimes they can attract those that have nothing better to do then to start racial attacks...:| )

The idea in general is a good one. I think people from all walks of life and all sides of the political spectrum would agree on that. I think any organization where the only checks and balances are within the organization, especially when that organization is part of law enforcement, is dangerous and is vulnerable to corruption.
