Constant Gardener

I think that folks interested in Africa should really watch this movie.

I rented it and have watched it twice and may end up buying it.

Visually stunning, morally troubling, romantically moving.

Yes it's awesome, very relevant in light of its' plot concerning the pharma companies, Africa. And just as a film it is beautiful.

I highly recommend it as a rental to anyone in FYM

I love this movie, and I usually at conspiracy theory type things. Plot aside, the visuals are very effective. It reminded me a lot of where I was in East Africa. Even though the plot is not true per se, it raises some very real issues, especially about the concept of distribution, something often forgotten when people get excited about being able to donate food and supplies.

My only complaint with the film was that I watched it for the second time in my college auditorium and I think a lot of the people that don't know better assumed the plot was a true story and were so horrified by it, they kind of missed the points about the larger issues to be dealt with.

I agree with all of the above.

We watched the film a few weeks ago.
I'm trying to restrain myself on how we felt about
the ending.
