Come on kids!! Learn the new dance.

don’t be a willy, don’t be silly, pay attention

first we jump to the right, and then we do it again,

we grind up a few poor slobs, we love that cannon fodder,
we reap billions and billions in unquestioned appropriations

the dance has served us well through two election cycles,
we could not loose.

But, just like “Who wants to be a millionaire” 5 nights a week did burn out,
and our dance is fading fast.

2006 election cycle looks bad for us. The fans are tired of this same dance. Counter programming is offering a better more honest program.

So, we steal their script and call it our new dance.

Everyone must learn the new dance

Step one:
White House drops 'war on terror' slogan...

Step two:
US may sharply cut force within year - general Casey

Step three:
Rumsfeld: U.S. desires 'fast pace' pullout..

Learn it, burn it into your brain, it is the new dance kids.

With it, we can carry more election cycles.

Remember kids, be a smarty, don’t be a farty, join our party.

if there is humor, i am not laughing

there is a huge sea change in the administration's talking points, i. e. message, and new policies

they have put their finger to the wind

and are making immediate course corrections for 2006, 2008 elections.

they know they are losers.

nah, I bet they could win if the dems put Hillary up.

really though, they're a fucking political party! what do you expect? low approval ratings mean new policies (or rhetoric, more like) is in order. what's new? but, I know you're proud of yourself for coming up with a new sort of orwellian catch phrase. now could you please answer my question in the other thread. :eyebrow:

In purely political terms, this is probably why many feel as if politicians are exactly the same no matter which party is in power. They talk strong talk in two different directions, but now we see the Bush Administration advocating what the Left had been advocating all along: that the "war on terror" required more than just military power.
