Canada is indeed cool. And the reason you know they are cool is because they are so quiet and humble about it.

No one thinks the loud bully who says he's cool, is cool. Does that sound like anyone we know?

I've lived in 4 different countries in my lifetime and Canada is the only one that gave me everything when it owed me nothing. I love it here.

I have/am considering moving there.

I cannot wait to see Vancouver (oh wait, I've mentioned that).

Canada does have that radical flare.

The only thing that troubles me is that everything that this guy talks about isnt trully happening.

Gay marriages. Not yet, for sure. They are fighting big time over this mess. Some of the Provinces are not going to follow it.

De-criminalized pot. (even though i agree fully with it) It isnt a forgone conclusion either. It is being batted around and if it were to happen wouldnt happen for a few months.

Gun Registry. The biggest joke this country has ever done. They blew hundreds of million even billions on this idea. It has become a joke in the west and people dont care about it!

Oh and i was allowed to drink when i was 18!

Also, many dont relize the many different ways of thinking that is directly centred around geogrophy! Peole in the East (ONtario), In Quebec, the maritimes and the west have such different views of this country!

And just a fact from Alberta, 18% of people would seriously consider seperating from Canada and join the US or become their own Country.

Interesting. How has this failed in Canada?

Its failed on so many different levels.

Planning, cost, relization that people in parts of the country dont listen to others people from other parts.

It was so unorganized, something that was to cost 140 million turn into over a billion dollars. They kept putting the date for final registraion back. They didnt listen to people who were the many gun handelers (rural Canada). Old men were thrown in jail for not complying. It was a mess, it still is a mess.

That doesn't necessarily mean it was a bad idea Bonoman. I dont think, at least. Perhaps more poor planning or organisation?
