Yeah, it's not like Bush has more women (or minorities, for that matter) in his cabinet than any other president or anything...

makes sense -- Bush's approval ratings are really only comparable to Nixon.

They're certainly "effete," but hardly "intellectual." Their actual "effete intellectuals," the neo-cons, got unceremoniously booted out a few years back after the war they had wanted, at least since 1998, backfired.
