because of a few protestors and a few politicians that only belong to "old europe?"

i think not, dear diary.

bush did not waste that much money to send all those troops and equipment if he wasnt going to go in there.

A convenient coincidence depending on who you are maybe. Groups of people on both sides of the debate may play it for as much drama as they can, regardless of the fact that the USA was already considering a move years ago.
so then the trade restrictions placed on french wine and cheese is also just something america is doing for fun? kind of like when i give wanderer a noogie?

right, im not buying it.

and wanderer, basil had a wonderful wrister. the st. louis blues have suffered greatly (financially, particularly in the season ticket avenue) since mcrae departed.

speaking of dearly departed (dear diary, ballad of a bad dog, dear diary and yes you are dear, dear diary), it looks like iginla will be heading to the rangers. im thinking the rangers should give up brian noonan, and the rights to john ogrodnick, jeff beukaboom, and tony twist and make the deal a fair one for both sides.

first off esa is great!

second, as sting says this is probably more convienent for anti-war and anti-us people then it is for the US. Now they have something they can use againist the war and againist bush. Ah propaganda you gotta love it either way it is swinging.

ill be more careful next time, lilly.

i could be far more colourful in my opinions, but i chose to be as bland as possible to prevent the masses from calling for my head.

it was more to the tune of what sting2 got out more eloquently. something we may have already been planning on doing taken into a different coincidal incident and turned around. maybe it's not coincidence that the argument has resurfaced right now.

bush wisely wants allies. his methods on how to gain them however.....not so wise

the Rangers are hoping to move A-Rod over to step it up down the stretch, i still think Ted Donato could be huge in the slot, if you follow

i love french cheese, but the good stuff is really too expensive, i feel that airstrikes are eminent on the swiss side of the moon

that's right...push them if you can't convince them

I read about that in our newspaper, and I don't buy it it's just a coincidence they're moving their troops. Or the measures against importing of French wine.

Also the congress had been debating on economic measures against Germany, and there are anti-German ads in planning. (example: a BMW, Mercedes and - I think - a Volkswagen go towards the camera, while a voice suggestively asks: Do you really want to buy a German car?)

Rumsfeld & Co. probably want to retire from their decades of ineptitude by starting a Cold War between the U.S. and its allies and Germany / France and their allies.

(laughs at a 1980s photo of Rumsfeld shaking Saddam's hand)

Considering that American conservatives hate Europe, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. And, yes, I'm tired of people bringing up World War II. How many years ago was that? If we are going to get historical, France helped the U.S. win the Revolutionary War. I guess we're even.

That's great. Let's make a country unstable, and, considering its prominence in the European economy as a whole, will probably keep Europe plunged in a recession. Poverty and anger will fuel fanaticism, and, inevitably, terrorist cells.

But this is about Iraq, not terrorism. "Terrorism" is just that specter to allow for hyper military spending and war toys. A resumption of terrorism means maybe Dubya can get funding for a death laser on the moon!

Oh, and I'm a bit tired of the anti-American labels flying around just because people disagree with what US administration.

France and Germany Unwilling to Assist Washington in Snow Removal

Chirac wants more snow inspections until it all melts. Rumsfield declares that Old Europe is upset that Bode Miller is kicking European butt on the slopes. Despite finishing in 6th place in the slalom today, Bode is walking away from St Moritz with two gold medals in hand.

It's like you wake up every day to something even funnier and more ridiculous than you heard yesterday.

I'm expecting any day now, we'll be forced to take Celine Dion back for our public opinion treachery. *sigh* We don't want her either.
