Yeah, chanting would be part of it.

Ginsberg was a great man.

Hmm, well, probably just standing next to one hell of a bomb, whichever kind will be the successor to the a-bomb.

Being the wimp that I am, I want no pain and no warning.

Now I have Alan Ginsberg's Skeleton song stuck in my head. Thanx!

The town does not exist
except where on black-haired tree slips
up like a drowned woman into the hot sky.
The town is silent. The night boils with eleven stars.
Oh starry starry night! This is how
I want to die.

It moves. They are all alive.
Even the moon bulges in its orange irons
to push children, like a god, from its eye.
The old unseen serpent swallows up the stars.
Oh starry starry night! This is how
I want to die:

into that rushing beast of the night,
sucked up by that great dragon, to split
from my life with no flag,
no belly,
no cry.

---The Starry Night, Anne Sexton.

' I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name. . .'

This really is a morbid thread. I'd like to go like my great grandfather did. He fell asleep in the front pew of his church and never woke up. Sounds like the best way/place to go to me.”

My friend's grandmother died playing the organ at church. Not so bad either.
I'll bet the behaviour of the children in attendance, dramatically improved after these incidents.

The best way to die:

Peacefully, just after hearing the entire Unforgettable Fire album.

"When I die, I want to die in my sleep like my grandpa, not screaming like the passengers in his car." --Jack Handy

Seriously though, I think I'd like to die in my sleep, right after having a goodbye conversation with my soulmate, whoever that might be.

I think the BEST WAY to die is to KNOW that you ARE GOING TO HEAVEN, and that you've changed the world for the better, touching people's lives and bringing them to know Christ, their true and only saviour.
I'd say THAT would be the best way to die.
Anyone think differently?
Apart from all the early posts i.e.

Bless ya.
