Jurassic Park - I loved dinosaurs since I was crawling and seeing that movie when I was seven kept that going. I know that it isn't the greatest movie ever done but it is a well made blockbuster with a solid cast and is clearly the best dinosaur movie ever.

Have you seen City of Men or Bus 174? I saw the latter on Christmas Eve, but saw City of Men at HMV the other day and was curious about it...

The best movie would be "Back to the Future," thank you. End of discussion

EDIT: Well okay...BttF is my "favorite" movie, but I don't necessarily think it's the *best* if that makes any sense. I just skimmed other user's various choices and it reminded me that the "best" movie is undoubtedly Schindler's List (and I've seen a LOT of movies). There you go. End of discussion...................

I don't think this is the best movie ever, but it is to me. Gladiator starring Russell Crowe

best movie -- you'd probably have to say "schindler's list"

my favorite movies -- toss up between "goodfellas" and "boogie nights"

"ET" also makes me weep like a schoolgirl. it's about finding something beautiful and precious in the middle of stifling suburbia, how kids empower themselves and make magic. it's American suburban transcendentalism, and it moves me so.

*sigh*
