What do you miss and don't miss about Britain?

MIss: The BBC, decent news reporting, pubs without TV's, disciplined drivers, friends and family, decent fish and chips, Galaxy chocolate, chocolate digestives, Indian food, decent beer, proximity to Continental Europe, Glasgow in general

Don't miss: Too much to mention. Litter, lack of employment opportunities, general welfare-state mentality, the NHS, the mandatory-smoking laws, West-of-Scotland attempts to copycat Northern Ireland

Why did you move to the US?

Got a great job opportunity right out ofg College. I got ajob back in the UK a few years later, moved back, but couldn't get back to the US fast enough.

Do you still have an accent or have you developed an American accent?

I have a "trans-atlantic" accent most of th etime, except after a few beers or if I get into an argument and then the Scottish brogue comes back.

Lots of religious Protestant vs. Catholic issues in the West of Scotland.
