Another FYM Game (But I promise that this ones much better)

Well I have decided to shamelessly rip this Electoral College game off MarkSteyn.com, it looks like a laugh and everybody needs to calm down. So lets get the ball rolling.

Quote:
POPULARITY ROUND
HOW WILL THE POPULAR VOTE SPLIT?

What proportion of the popular vote will George W Bush and John Kerry get? Bush 51.3, Kerry 46.2? Bush 48.1, Kerry 47.8? Bush 12.2, Kerry 104 (Late entry from Michael Moore)? It's your call. We'd like to know Bush's and Kerry's totals to one demical point - ie, 53.7 or 73.5. Don't forget to factor in whatever Nader and the Libertarians and Constitutionalists and so forth are going to shave off

ELECTORAL COLLEGE CAPERS
WHAT'S THE FINAL SCORE?

You need 270 electoral-college votes to become President. George W Bush just scraped across the line in 2000. How many will he get this time?
Quote:
LAWYER JIRGA
WHICH WILL BE THE LAST STATE TO DECLARE AN OFFICIAL, LEGALLY BINDING RESULT?

Last time it was Florida. This time the Democratic Party lawyers are already circling courthouses in Ohio, New Mexico and elsewhere. Name the state which will be the last to declare formally to which candidate its slate of electors will go to?
Quote:
REMEMBER THE MAINE!
HOW WILL THE PINE TREE STATE SPLIT?

Down East, they've got that goofy split-spoils system. Of Maine's four electoral-college votes, two go to the statewide winner, and one each goes to the winners of the First and Second Congressional Districts. In a tight race, a point from Maine could come in very handy. So how will Maine's vote split?

a) Four points for Kerry
b) Three for Kerry, one for Bush
c) One for Kerry, three for Bush
d) Four for Bush
Quote:
HOME STATE ADVANTAGE
WHAT WILL THE CANDIDATES SCORE IN THEIR BACKYARDS?

In 2000, Al Gore lost the Presidency because he failed to carry his home state. Will North Carolina do the same for the Kerry/Edwards ticket? We'd like you to tell us the proportion of the vote...

a) George W Bush will receive in Texas
b) Dick Cheney will receive in Wyoming
c) John Kerry will receive in Massachusetts
d) John Edwards will receive in North Carolina

CAPITOL CAPERS
WHAT WILL BE THE FINAL SCORE IN THE HOUSE AND SENATE?

Things are close in the Senate, less so in the House, but a Presidential candidate with coat-tails could put a few seats in both in play. We'd like to know the post-election tally: How many seats will the Republicans hold in the House and Senate?
Quote:
THROW DA BUMS OUT!
NAME ONE INCUMBENT DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN SENATOR WHO'LL LOSE

You can gerrymander congressional district boundaries but nobody's yet figured out a way to gerrymander the state line. So these days Senate races are a lot livelier than House ones. Name one incumbent Republican and one incumbent Democrat who'll lose their Senate seats on November 2nd. If you think no incumbent Republican will lose, write "none" in the Republican category. Likewise for the Democrats. But chances are someone will

GRAB DAKOTA, GET YOUR HAT
WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE VOTE WILL TOM DASCHLE GET?

Here's the Senate race to watch: South Dakota Republican John Thune vs the Democrats' party leader. Will Tom Daschle survive to obstruct Bush's second term? We'd like you to tell us the share of the vote he'll get
Quote:
THE BIG ONE!
RUN THE MAP

If you think the above are too easy, here's the one to go for: In the Presidential election, put all 50 states in the right column. In other words, name every single state in the Bush column and every single state in the Kerry column. (You can skip DC - if Bush wins that, the big 50 will already be in the bag.)
So lets go FYM, place your bets and we will pay off in beverage when the dust settles.
