A small dedication (not much, but it's heartfelt)

I've been listening to this all day, along with Kite. I just wanted to post it and dedicate this to everyone who has ever had to say goodbye to someone they weren't ready to.... I see hope in the beggining and the end of this song, and that's what I'm holding onto. I just pray that these times will pass quickly.

I always had "New York" running through my head when I was at Penn Station the first few times I went into NYC after 9/11...I was somewhat scared to be there and that song comforted me.

Oct. 24, 2001. Madison Square Garden. U2. Best performance of that song ever. The crowd had so much fun with that song and it kind of exemplified the whole night -- after all the crap we went though, for one night, we were able to celebrate our city again and have a good time. It was an amazing show -- and I met my fiance there, so it has a special place in my heart.

ATYCLB got me though those months, but I have to say the song that kept me going was "Walk On" as in it's bad, it hurts, but keep going and things will get better. Just keep going.

Yes, to all of our fine New Yorkers. "New York" was great at my first Elevation show, in March of that year, but it meant so much more in November, a little over two months after the attack. I cried. Gosh, that was so emotional.
