Well, here is is....my 8,001 Post.

Almost all of them in this forum.

Lot of people have come and gone thoguht the 8,000 posts.

Thanks to you all for making this a place where I can come and post ideas. Not all of them good, but a place to discuss. Working in education at the elementary level, I very rarely get to have these kinds of discussions. It means a lot to me.

Congratulations. Always enjoy your posts. Definitely have made me stop and think a lot of the time. Sometimes changed the way I was perceiving something, but at the very least made me question the way I looked at things. I always appreciate that challenge, even when it makes me uncomfortable.

I was just recently looking through some of the old threads in the FYM archives and thinking what an audacious newbie I must sometimes sound like.

I worked for a couple years in early childhood education and understand exactly what you mean about the need for an outside source of dialogue to keep your feet on familiar ground.

Congrats on making that number of posts, Dread-here's to many more of 'em from ya. I've always liked how you don't tow any party line...your views are balanced, see the good and bad in both sides and point them out . Keep doing that, it's refreshing.

Also, never lose your sense of humor. That's another thing I always enjoy .
