ok not to bash the homosexual community or anything. But being a Airbore Ranger and doing acts like that puts a big disgrace on a prestigous unit. :|

In my opinion being in the military and raping women and degrading them in many other ways is a much bigger disgrace. The quarterback at the Naval Academy was just accused of rape-just one example among many. "Prestige" is irrelevant.

 I agree. I haven't had time to read all of the articles, but if this was just some military men/women making their own porn pay-site...oh well, what they do with their bodies is none of my business, as long as no one's being forced and everyone is 18. I don't condone that type of thing, but it's certainly not the biggest issue I'd be worrying about.

Your initial post and reply tell me otherwise.

[Q]Have you been in the military. [/Q]

If you actually read my posts you would see an answer to your......question?

You dont know me so you cant call me homophobic. And if there are homophobic people out there you treat them second class like you obivously showed me.

Second class citizen? Are you for real?

Your initial post.....

[Q]ok not to bash the homosexual community or anything. [/Q]

and then comparing people in a porn site to terrorists who kill innocent people.

[Q]how are you going to create a website gay or not. this makes a unit look bad as do the insurgents making muslims look bad.[/Q]

And I am treating you like a second class citizen. You made it a homosexual issue. You linked it to terrorists who kill innocents.

If you thought it were about sex, any kind of sex, you would have said that initially or clarified it when I asked you to.

You poor second class citizen.

You and I can agree that private citizens have the right to create such a site.....

But those who wear the uniform are subject to the United States Code of Military Justice.

They are not allowed to create such a website. Period. They broke the law and should be punished.

Please understand, that I do not think of this as a homosexual issue. There are MANY male soldiers and female soldiers, much like society, who do participate in many things that I found to be wrong. They too would be subject to the USCMJ.....

BUT.....

Many of the heterosexual behaviors are not PROSECUTED. There is a look the other way because it is HETEROSEXUAL behavior. It is almost fraternity type behavior and it is part of the culture.

Dreadsox you seem so insecure that you have to go and mock people. I was just stating an opinion when I started the thread.

You made need to spend more time thinking through how you will articulate your opinion before tossing out a quick thread with a misleading title.

As I suspected....FOUR of the soldiers were not charged for the GAY PORN SITE...

[Q]Those charges included underage drinking, drunken driving and being intoxicated while on duty, the army said. [/Q]

http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,18268238%5E1702,00.html

Now we are down to three soldiers....and the charges are...

[Q]Three of the soldiers were charged with pandering, sodomy and "wrongfully engaging in sexual acts with another person while being filmed, with the purpose of broadcasting over the internet for money," the army said.[/Q]

These three are not an embarassment to ANYONE but themselves. They are not representative of the entire military, the 82nd airborne, or the homosexual community.

I am so sick of the stereotypical belief that somehow the actions of an individual belonging to a group are representative of the group as a whole.....
