There's no doubt that taxes are going up up up with Sanders. I'm just very cautious about reading pretty much anything that isn't wholly neutral. Again, I'm not too sure where I got that notion of the Libertarian thing... but I do know that I've read that the tax calculator in question makes some rather heinous interpretations of the facts laid out by the Tax Policy Center. Things such as payroll taxes, where the full and incorrect assumption is that it comes out of an employee's paycheck as opposed to the employer, for example. Whether or not these things are true, I don't know. I'm no tax expert, and I won't begin to be. However, it does seem to be biased, if anything.
Personally, I have minimal political/economic 'ideologies' that I align with. I'm more of a believer that there's not really one right answer, just right and wrong people. I'm going to support either Sanders or Clinton in the Fall. I'm 100% happy to have the status quo right now, but would love to see radial reform on health and education. Nobody from the right is currently offering that, and with Trump as a candidate, I feel the stakes are too high to vote independent.

Oh, and maybe you missed the point, but "planning higher education costs to fit in with financial means" is a ludicrous and utterly bullshit statement. Students don't earn money. Certainly not enough to cover the costs of higher education these days. That's why they borrow it. They *have* to borrow it. How much they have to pay back is the name of why student loans are too expensive. Sallie asks for basically two to one on the dollar.

Im from Japan where many of businesses and companies are concentrated to one city (Tokyo area) and often times people don't have an option other than live in Tokyo, though the cost for living is generally high there. Obviously rents are pretty high but people are often forced to do it, though not all people can really afford to do so.

It's a hard fact you point out. And I think the arrow is still pointed up on exponentially rising costs. We can agree it's gonna be complicated.
If I did that, I'd be a manual labourer like my poor immigrant dad and not a corporate lawyer who graduated 3rd in her law school class.

It was a crash, not a correction.
A correction is a modest decline in response to an overvaluation of properties returning the property to its fundamental value. A crash results in the property becoming undervalued compared to its fundamental value.
