Safe to say? Where's your citation?

I'm willing to bet that most illegal immigrants come in on tourist visas and intentionally overstay their welcome/go rogue. Not cross the land border.

There are some that over stay, but I can't believe it is anywhere near the majority. We should look for some credible sources, I prefer several from differing perspectives before I start to accept them as some what credible.

In fucking la-la land.

Anyways, talking about building a wall is the very definition of moot - it would be quite literally impossible to build. Period. He might as well be talking about hiring a personal porn fluffer for every American.

I picture deep cackling at his computer whenever he finishes off a particularly impressive devil's (or in this case, Drumpf's) advocate post.

It seems that most of you that take time to post in here think that Trump would be a bad President. Forefront at his campaign and still up front in his platform is to secure the border. To build a wall and prevent people and contraband from coming into the country not monitored.

There are three ways that people or contraband can come into the U S not monitored. Through our airports, our sea ports and harbors or across our land borders. Of the three, the land border is the least secure. Would it be ok US customs at the airports let 30 % of people get by customs without screening and approval? The port authority, coast guard and harbor patrol do a good job preventing contraband. If they had a 40% failure rate would you say that was ok??

Well you will have your boy Trump as the nominee most likely, so you can cast your vote for him in November.

Not only is it impossible, but it does very little to stop the cartel as mentioned. The cartel has been doing this for decades, they're kinda past the days of swallowing balloons and riding over on a donkey. They're very organized and very advanced. Why? Because we've been spending decades talking about a fictitious concrete wall. They've got their own fucking drones, a wall won't stop them, they will find a way over, under, or through. Destroying the cartel will take a collaborative effort of legalizing drugs(or at least marijuana), cyber and technological attacks, easing of the medical restrictions with prescriptions, and then find out where we are failing in the immigration process, and last but not least the stopping of all this wall talk that is distracting from the real issue.

Trump posted an "autographed" ball from Pete Rose asking him to "make America great again", and Pete in a statement through his lawyer is denying it.

How fucking weird is this election?! Truth is, I kinda think Trump is being truthful for once and Pete was just having the next morning regret. I mean why would you fake a Pete Rose endorsement?

On the protesters thing, I don't get why people actually show up at a candidate's rallies or wherever to protest them. You know it won't accomplish anything, so the people that do it are just craving attention and/or a fight and/or just want to feel good about themselves. Yes, Trump blows. We get that. But just trying to get people angry at his rallies doesn't really serve a purpose in the long run.

Surprised nobody mentioned the real reason the electoral college exists...slavery.

Early word is that Bernie is going to not do particularly well in Ohio, Illinois and Missouri while he has already lost Florida and North Carolina as expected by wide margins. At this point, he's clearly in it to the be the back-up candidate and let his platform positions become stronger in the Democratic party. Still, until Clinton actually meets the required amount of delegates (and only through pledged delegates), this thing isn't over. Those super delegates will turn on a dime if the FBI suddenly tries to charge Clinton with something major.

All eyes are on Ohio for the Republicans...and it looks like Kasich is going to win it. That's a big blow for Trump as those 66 delegates would have got him a hell of a lot closer to the nomination. If Kasich and Rubio were to jump ship soon, Cruz would start a pretty strong comeback against Trump as he'd win about 60-40 based on the polling we've seen (although he might do worse than that given there are less favorable states on the way). Kasich is clearly going to stick around to the convention and hope he is anointed by the party's elites.

Also, unless they change the rules, the RNC's own by-laws say that a candidate has to win eight states, so only Cruz could be the Trump challenger at the convention.

Ah, and it looks like Rubio has just left the race.

Fare thee well, little Marco Rubio.

My man John Kasich is like Tom Riddle, gaining strength all the time as the Ginny Weasleys of Ohio continue to write in his diary.

Isn't that what protesting is about, drawing attention? How is this any different from "productive" protesting?

Ouch, Rubio really got done on his home turf didn't he? That's got to sting.

Pleased Kasich turned Ohio into a bit of a roadblock for Trump though. Come oooonnn contested convention.

Nobody likes Marco Rubio here in Florida.. I can assure you of that. Back when this whole thing started, I said he wasn't a serious candidate. I was shocked to see he got so far, and this is why.

I wasn't sure what to make of Rubio until I started watching the debates. I immediately said he looked like a little kid and was not believable as a presidential candidate. I'm not sure why the "establishment" pinned its hopes on him, except that they are simpletons and thought he could be the Hispanic Obama.

I hope Bernie takes his money and enthusiasm and uses it to help elect a more progressive Congress.

Why not keep a focus on the presidential race and virtually support Clinton by being a dummy opponent? It's win-win for him. He gets his message, and the democrats don't fade into obscurity while the Repubes dog it out.

I don't disagree. I'm very glad he's in the race for a variety of reasons, and he's troubleshooting her considerable flaws as a candidate.

My hope is for the future of his political career, especially as we head into the summer. There's no reason for him to drop out now. They should both be pretty pleased.

We should also be pleased about the political death of Marco Rubio and the victory of a non-crazy person in the most important state for the GOP.

What high-paying jobs are Cruz talking about that he's going to take from illegal aliens and give to everybody else? Are there a wealth of illegal aliens making six figures that I'm not aware of or something?

The fact that Cruz/Trump are courting an electorate that considers ~$20-$30k/year jobs high paying is telling

Facts? They don't need facts, they make fun of facts. Cruz is just trying to steal some of Trump's base. He could say, "I will fire all Mexicans from their jobs until you are employed" and steal this election.
